Historic house in Heemstade, Holland

The house was built in 1927 by architect A. D. N. van Gendt, who also designed the Amsterdam Concertgebouw. When Marijke and Evert saw the house, they immediately fell in love with it. They viewed the original drawings of the architect and decided to restore as much as possible of the original house. The garden has several terraces built with spectacular view on the Spaarne river.
